I am Trent Lynn Bowman, based in Heber Springs, Arkansas. My freelance focus is maps and wayfinding graphics: the visual relationship between a place, its landmarks and a visitor’s next decision. I work with graphic hierarchy, line weight, symbols and annotation to make an overview easier to read. The original studies in this portfolio use fictional settings. They demonstrate graphic decisions without claiming surveying, engineering, safety approval or a real installation.

A map is a sequence of choices, not a collection of everything in a place.
